Alison Krauss, born in Decatur in Illinois on July 23, 1971 is a popular and wealthy Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Krauss were the two youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. She was born on July 23, 1971. Her first job was in the business of music at a very young age. At the age 10 she was a winner in local contests, and then recorded her first album. The year 1987 was when she released her debut solo album following signing with Rounder Records. She was asked to join Alison Krauss & Union Station with whom she performs.
