Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th, 1967. She is an American musician and actor. Wuhrer began her career as she was a teenager. She is best known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.
